The Domion Effect, which is not a misspelling of the ‘Domino Effect’ is a binary options software created by Tom Domion, who came up with a proprietary binary options trading algorithm. Obviously, this made him a rich person and now he wants to give back to the public and it’s the same old story all over again.

What is the Domion Effect Robot?

We’ll just go right ahead and say it; the Domion Effect is a cheap and poorly produced scam. They did not even bother to hire a real actor for Tony Domion and what we get instead is something that is obviously shot for some sort of cigar or men’s lifestyle advertisement. That’s probably why ‘Tony’s’ face is all over the Internet.

And as for the figures promised by the robot; $1,800 in 15 minutes? We are seriously questioning the mental capacity of someone who believes that they can earn almost $2,000 in 15 minutes by trading binary options with a $250 minimum deposit; although that might just be the target market of these scammers. Here’s a fact: if you see any binary options robot promising these kind of fantasy numbers, most with some sort of ‘risk free’ guarantee (there’s no such thing as risk free trading by the way) then right off the bat you can dismiss them as a scam.

Moving on; while the scammers were too cheap to hire a real actor to play ‘Tony Domion’, they did however fork out the money for some cheap Fiverr actors to give some fake testimonials.

Do the first two people look familiar? They should because they are some of the most popular Fiverr actors out there when it comes to these kinds of scam videos. The one on the left is the infamous simplysoccerpro (we like to refer to him as simplyscammerpro) while the one in the middle is dclover1 (or scamlover1). In total, we estimate the number of scam videos these people have appeared in to be well into the double digits.

Oh and if you scroll over to the ‘Disclaimer’ page on the Domion Effect website, you will see that they admit that everything is simulated (aka fake).

How Does It Work?

If you want to know how the robot works we can’t help you because it’s most likely just a generic auto-trader bought off the market and there’s no way it can give you the profits promised. However, we can tell you how these scams work; they are all affiliate marketing scams. These scammers sign affiliate agreements with their partner brokers and when customers fund their account with said broker through the robot, the scammers earn themselves a nice little cut. That’s why all these allegedly mega money making robots are free.

Even though these scam robots are affiliates of the broker themselves, they also offer their own affiliate programs, mainly for scammy banners and scammy spam emails (their main marketing channels). Look at some of the ‘sample’ emails they tell their affiliates to send out.

As for the brokers that these scammers usually partner with, let’s just say they are usually not of the highest quality. They are typically unregulated and more often than not, the subject of numerous complaints of fraudulent or unethical behavior. In our case, the broker we were assigned to when signing up through the Domion Effect was SternOption which is to no surprise, completely unregulated.

Final Conclusion: Is The Domion Effect a Scam?

The Domion Effect, whose name was probably chosen because it seems like a misspelling of the domino effect, is nothing but a lame scam. The only effect it should elicit on a smart trader is one of laughter and derision. Avoid this one; it doesn’t even have any entertainment value.
